Dr. Abe Benavides

Cannabis Educator

• Background: Dr. Abe is a cannabis consultant and scholar from George Washington U (SMHS ’19), with studies in Biology and Business Administration at Boston U. He founded the first cannabis education group at a US medical school and advocates for cannabis law reform and public health. After surviving COVID-19, he relocated to Costa Rica for healing.

• Role: Dr. Benavides collaborates with Dr. Gana on research, education, and clinical studies for BioSource Botanical products, while also providing remote cannabis coaching through Veriheal and GW CIM.
